Lawrence Peter Rendziak

Forever loved, Lawrence Peter Rendziak, a long time resident of Flin Flon and the Northern Lights Manor, passed away on July 13, 2022. Lawrence was born on September 13, 1951 to Peter and Rose Rendziak. He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his three sisters – Katherine, Margaret and Evelyn.

Unfortunately, Lawrence contracted meningitis at a young age and faced many challenges. While he attended local schools, he was largely home-schooled and self-taught. Our parents devoted their lives to providing the care that our brother required and encouraged him to strive for the best he could achieve despite his limitations.

Our fondest memories of our brother include his big smile and his appreciation for all that was done on his behalf. His favourite past times included going on family fishing trips and on picnics, watching favourite TV shows, collecting miniature cars and hats, reading car magazines and colouring. Lawrence also enjoyed visiting with his sisters and receiving surprise mail from them.

We would like to thank Home Care staff who made it possible for dad and Lawrence to reside in their house together and to the staff at the Northern Lights Manor for providing our brother with his final home where he was cared for with dignity and respect.

Lawrence’s Sisters
