To all who loved Clarence, we send our sympathy in his death this month, December, 2018. Svardal cousins from Alaska, Linda Sharp and family. (My g.grandfather Bendik Fjerstad was a first cousin to Clarence's grandmother Kari Botolvsdatter Larson. They sailed on the same ship in 1851 from Norway to America, their mothers were Svardal sisters.) Lsharp@alaska.net

Mr Jacobson and I had a long friendship, when i was 6 years old he would visit his Mother who lived across the street from me on South Hudson she would tune a old guitar for me a Mr jacobson would get me to sing a song even if it was one i had just made up, because the biggest part of that song, came at the end when he would give me a dime for doing such a good job, I stayed in touch with him for a long time, and even his son Daryl whom was a close friend and he would tell me how much his mother and dad would chuckle when this 6 year old would sing those songs. To you Mr. Jacobson I hope too meet you again , I have learned some new songs, To A long dear Friend I say to you it was a real privalidge to know you.
